I've volunteered to be point on permits for California, and can personally look after permits in San Francisco and Oakland I think, and Sacramento if need be. Is anyone willing to volunteer to check on permits in southern California or other regions of the state?

Heads up for San Francisco:

If we could get someone to the city Board of Supervisors meeting we could see if we could make the case for a resolution condemning the decision in Citizens' United v FEC and help get us some early momentum. It would also help to introduce the idea early on so that if there is no action now momentum and support will make it easier to pass later.

Ok going to handle coordination for SF Bay Area. Who wants LA, Sacramento, and San Diego? We want to hit the ground running and get local organizations up as quickly as possible and taking action. The more action we do the easier it is to gain support.
